| The University Guest House and Conference Center has many faciliites that can serve any conference need. Each of these facilities were renovated for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games and have been updated with comprehensive audio/visual while maintianing their historic charm. These Facilities include:
The University Guest House - 110 S Fort Douglas Blvd.
Four meeting rooms and 2 boardrooms located in our 135 room on-campus hotel.
The Officer's Club - 150 Fort Douglas Boulevard.
This newly renovated multipurpose facility that can be used as a single banquet or general session room or can break down into 4 individual meeting rooms. This is our most popular wedding reception room. A preperation kitchen is available for caterer use.
The Commander's House - 1965 De Trobriand Street.
Excellent for receptions or weddings, the Commander's House is a newly renovate historic home with one large meeting room and two smaller meeting rooms and a sun room. This facility has a caterer preperation kitchen.
The Post Chapel - 120 Fort Douglas Blvd.
The Chapel
is available for weddings and meetings. It can seat up to 150 people in pews, chairs or a combination of both.
The Post Theater - 245 Fort Douglas Blvd.
The Theater
can accommodate 250 ppl auditorium style and is equipped with a full audio/visual projection system.
The Chase N. Peterson Heritage Center - 151 Connor Street.
Built in 2000, has four state of the art meeting rooms as well as a dining facility.
All of our facilities are located within walking distance from each other and combined with historic nature of Fort Douglas make a unique conference experience for any group. Additionally, the newley renovated bandstand and surrounding lawn, or the Fort Dougals Picnic Area, both make wonderful venues for outdoor functions.
Additionally we can reserve space for up to 2300 ppl at other venues on our campus. Kingsbury Hall, University Union, Orson Spencer Hall, Huntsman Cancer Institue and Rice Eccles Staduim are just a few options we can add to any conference or meeting.
