Carrie Grant, CMP - Conference & Event Planner| 801-587-1005
Carrie has been with the Conference & Event Management (CEM) department for over 9 years.  She graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism with a Hospitality Emphasis and has the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credential.  Within the CEM department, Carrie specializes in Registration Services, University of Utah Residence Hall Housing for the Summer Conferencing department, facility coordination for Summer Camps as well as full service meeting planning.  Carrie is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International (ACCED-I).  She has served on Program and Social Media committees for the 35th Annual and 36th Annual ACCED-I conferences.  Carrie is proud to represent the University of Utah as a fan, alumni, and staff member.  Go Utes!

Christopher Pehler, CMP, HMCC - Conference & Event Planner| 801-587-1101
Christopher has been in the hospitality industry for over 13 years, in both private and public sectors.  As a Utah native, he graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism with a Hospitality Emphasis and has the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credential and the Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate (HMCC). Within the CEM department, Christopher provides logistical and administrative support for groups of all sizes, both on-campus and off-campus, as well as specializing in healthcare meetings. Christopher is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI).

Meghan Webb, CMP - Assistant Director| 801-587-2982
Meghan has worked in hospitality at the University of Utah for more than 17 years and is passionate about customer service and working with clients in higher-education.  Meghan graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism with an emphasis in Hospitality Management and has the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credential.  Meghan handles new business inquiries, responds to request for proposals, arranges site tours, and with her staff, strategically plans for the future of the organization.  Meghan is active in the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International (ACCED-I) where she is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the association.  She loves that every day in hospitality holds something new – new clients, guests, challenges, decisions. When she isn’t at work, Meghan loves spending time in the Utah outdoors and going on adventures with her 3 children.

Brandon Grizzell - Accountant| 801-587-2985

Brandon has worked in the hospitality industry for 13 years. He started with the University Guest House in 2004 as a front desk clerk and eventually moved to the accounting department. In 2012 Brandon left the Guest House to pursue a career as a General Manager of a corporate event photography company. For the next 5 years he traveled the world, coordinating photography services with meeting planners and clients. In February 2018 he returned to the Guest House to continue his accounting career. He supports Conference and Event Management by handling accounting needs as well as working on-site for meetings.
